Nanogaine is a hairloss treatment that has been shown to:

It is a fact of any hair regrowth product, whether topical or oral, that it's application must be ongoing to maintain results. Both Minoxidil and Nanogaine work by releasing the Nobel Prize-winning Nitric Oxide molecule (NO), which acts as a chemical messenger to the hair follicles. In fact, that is what the NO stands for in Minoxidil and Nanogen. Minoxidil is unfortunately only soluble in alcohol solutions and consequently causes incredibly dry and flaky scalp over long-term use. Furthermore, this drying effect damages the hair follicle. Nanogaine represents a breakthrough in hair regrowth technology as its formulation is water soluble and thus can be used for years without any reported adverse effects. With Nanogaine, you get all the benefits of Nitric Oxide, without the downsides of an alcohol-based product. |

The life cycle of a hair
In a normal scalp, approximately 90% of hairs are in the Anagen phase and 10% in either the Catagen or Telogen phase. In cases of Alopecia, the number of hairs in the Anagen phase drops, while the number of hairs falling out (Telogen phase) rises. Clinical trials show that Nanogaine can increase the number of hairs in the Anagen phase by +15%, at the same time decreasing the number of hairs in the Telogen phase.

Regrow your hair with Nanogaine The Nitric Oxide (NO) pathway exists within every hair cell. Increased presence of intracellular Nitric Oxide has been shown to increase the size and section of the hair follicle (left) Conversely, Peroxynitrite has been shown to be detrimental to the health of the hair follicle. Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) therefore has a double hair growth stimulation effect - more NO and less Peroxynitrite. |

How Nanogaine Works:

Capilecti™ has been shown to expand the Anagen (growth) phase and shorten the Telogen (resting) phase by 17%. Capilecti is a lectin-like glycoprotein helping to agglutinate hair follicle cells together. Lo-Seb™ is a complex of homotaurine, bacterial filtrate peptides and marine derived sulphomucpolysaccharide extract. Lo-Seb reduces sebum output by 16% and is effective in normalising Seborra often implicated in alopecia. Lo-Seb also has been shown to increase the percentage of hair in the Anagen (growth) phase by 15% (from 74.6% to 85.5%) Nanogaine increases the size of the hair follicle, expanding the Anagen phase and shortening the Telogen phase. |

Clinical Research behind Nanogaine
The hair of the lumbar region (small 5cm patch) of six C3H mice
was cut and 0.1ml of SOD extract was applied twice a day, until
hair growth was observed. The area of hair growth was monitored
with an image analysing apparatus At 1% concentration of SOD, hair growth response was observed
in all cases after 14 days and hair growth rate was observed in
all areas of treatment. At 0.5% concentration, hair growth response
was observed in all cases In Vitro test It has been shown that Minoxidil increases the DNA synthesis of skin hair follicle and the synthesis of keratin in the hair follicle (Buhl AE et al., J Invest Dermatol 1991 May; 96(5):73S-74S) so it was decided to use the same test for Superoxide Dismutase for a fair comparison. Addition of only 5-10 microM of SOD extract provoked hair follicle protein synthesis which was 100-200% higher than that of Minoxidil (2%) We are aware that Minoxidil is usually used at 5% concentration or higher. Nanogaine is formulated with 2% SOD in addition to it's other actives such as Lo-Seb TM and Capilecti. Nanogaine can be used concurrently with Minoxidil therapy. A simple search on the Google engine "SOD + Hairloss" will provide multiple references to the other respected sources who have tested SOD for applications in hair loss therapy. Indeed there have been expensive patent fights over this particular ingredient. Here is a quote from the respected US website Hairlosstalk which we are comfortable quoting as they do NOT stock Nanogaine (we only supply EU): "SOD's - Also known as Super Oxide Dismutase, these hair loss treatments work by handling the immune response which occurs as a result of excessive DHT in the follicle. When cells sense a foreign body, they release Super Oxide, which typically help defend the body against invading viruses, cells, and foreign tissues. SOD's reduce the presence of this Super Oxide, thus reducing the body's desire to reject the follicle. It's yet another "angle" proven to work in fighting hair loss. SOD's are kind of a hybrid treatment because they also have growth stimulation properties, as well as anti-inflammatory properties." |
